Tahoe is continually enhancing its local transit options

Tahoe Convoy serves the weekend journey, traveling eastbound on Friday night and returning westbound on Sunday night (or Monday night during 3-day weekends)

If our Friday or Sunday travel times don't align with your schedule, you can purchase a one-way Tahoe Convoy ticket and use one of these other travel options.

Day Ski Buses

There are several day ski buses that connect the Bay Area directly with ski resorts on weekends and holidays. Day ski buses depart the Bay Area around 5 AM, arrive at one preselected resort around 9 AM, and finally start the return to the Bay Area around 4 PM. These buses are a great travel option for visitors without overnight accommodations at Lake Tahoe.

To unlock more travel options, you can ride Tahoe Convoy one way and a day ski bus the other way. For example, to travel eastbound Friday evening and return westbound Saturday evening, ride Tahoe Convoy for your eastbound Friday trip and use a day ski bus for your Saturday evening return.
